I’ve had many conversations about this topic. Discrimination against ANY minority should be categorically rebuked by ALL minorities. How can you be black, and know that struggle, and not be able to sympathize with the gay struggle, or the Jewish struggle or the Asian struggle, etc? It just doesn’t make sense. It’s that kind of thinking that allowed Hitler’s Nazis to do what they did to the Jews in Germany – too many people standing on the sidelines, telling themselves that it’s not their problem. Injustice is EVERYONE’s problem!
