The results of this study should come as no surprise to anyone with any sense. People often talk about PTSD and how soldiers suffer after coming home from their deployments. That’s a real thing. But few non-blacks seem to acknowledge the stress that black people have been enduring on a daily basis for the last 400+ years as we try to survive and be successful in a country that, for the most part, has always seen us as ‘lesser than’. That PTSD is also REAL.
